Rosaria National News Top News: Today the Rosarian Government announced their 2019 Fiscal Year Federal Budget, according to information provided by the Federal website and the morning press conference there has been a moderate increase to the military with an additional 20 billion Rosarian dollars added to the yearly budget. Although not much has been revealed on what its being spent on there has been speculation that the Rosarian government is preparing for military action with recent events happening. Numerous senators have stated that they do not support the increase in military budget stating that the funds could've gone to other federal programs such as education or healthcare. The Democratic Party of Rosaria which has maintained a majority in the senate since 2006 stated that the security of Rosarian will remain a priority for the party and will continue to do so.
National News: The Rosarian Aeronautics and Space Administration announced today an ambitious program to begin their search for exoplanets with a new telescope and probe. The program will be named Solaris along with the telescope already underway of construction.
Political: Along with a new year 2019 also brings us the senate midterms, with the two major parties the Democrats and Republicans fiercely fighting each other with the Dems trying to maintain their majority and the Republicans attempting to either gain a majority or have an 50/50 split between them. Along with them are the United Socialist Party and the Rosarian Libertarian Party plan to take some seats from the majorities hoping to have a bigger influence in the senate.

Top News: Today the Soria state senate approved the construction and development of a new 200sq km oil field which will be owned by Koensayr Energies, a prominent energy company in Rosaria. According to surveys it is estimated around 1-3 billion barrels worth of oil reserves lie underneath the Juves jungle. The approval has gathered attention of environmentalists and anti fossil fuel groups which have begun their protests in front of the State senate building. Economists say that the increased production of oil will provide more resources for trade or a reduced reliance on oil imports, which route will be taken has yet to be seen.
National News: Although rallies have been occurring since late 2018, the beginning of 2019 marks the official beginning of midterm campaigns for the midterm elections on November, Although too early polls have shown very little change in who people will vote for, with Republicans leanings rising by .01% in democratic strongholds. While an extremely small change it shows that people can still be swayed to the other party and if left alone could spell disaster to either major party.
Political: The Democratic Party having recently finishing a rally have released their party platform for 2019. Main issues like defense and industry have remained the pillars of their platform with nothing else changing, its assumed that the democrats will continue to pander to their current base. Their main mission is to continue to hold the majority in the senate and if possible take more seats in the senate. The Republicans however have seem to diversify their platform, adding trade and changing their economic stance from supporting a free market to supporting a mixed market. It's been also rumored that the Republicans will announce a stance on Aglrinia, something the democrats are reluctant to do.Depending on their stance can mean a victory or defeat in the midterms.
Military: (Classified) Secretary of Defense Camille Harris met today with all directors of the Special Research and Projects Administration (SRPA) to discuss developments in anti-satellite capabilities from aircraft, land and sea, in addition improvements to current battle-bot designs, as current designs are completely exposed. Top Story: Today The Rosarian Department of Defense has granted 10 billion dollars worth of military defense contracts to numerous defense contractors including Seras Corporation and Yutani Tech Industries, two prominent and heavily competing companies attempting to maintain a large presence in the Rosarian military industrial complex. With increased spending in 2019, some are beginning to believe that defense contractors are increasing their lobbying in the senate.
National News: Today Weyland Industries announced their plans to establish a presence in space by constructing and placing numerous satellites around earth, while the purpose of said satellites are still unknown a Weyland spokesperson has stated that more information will be released in the coming months.
Political News: With the midterms campaigns officially starting days ago primary candidates have been established in San Sebastian, Camares, Avalon and Monterojo with Republicans hoping to remove or at least weaken democratic strongholds in San Sebastian and Monterojo. The democratic party continues to carry forward strong, however analysts and experts have noticed small cracks in the democratic platform with anti military sentiment within the new members of the party.
Military: The Rosarian Army released today to upgrade their aging Merkava III tanks with the modern Merkava IV and new Merkava V MBT's to modernize their military. The news is the first of many upgrades to come to the rosarian military as the Rosarian Air Force also announced they plans to purchase 35 more ASF-23 fighters at the cost of 1.75 billion dollars. additional acquisitions of military equipment is expected in the coming months with the Rosarian Missile Defense looking to purchase more AAMS and ABMS systems as well.

Top Story: Today President Isidra held a news conference today with the main issue being the threat to Na Lahaar by the Aglrinian Navy. President Isidra has said that more news will be available on the coming days.
National News: The Rosarian Government today has approved the construction of 3 natural gas mine near the Juves Jungle near oil reserves. With expected production to be an estimated 72 million cubic ft. a year each boosting natural gas production in Rosaria. With ground survey it is expected that Rosaira's natural gas production will increase over the years.
Political: Today the Republican Party announced their anti-Aglrinia stance during a rally in San Sebastian. According to reporters at the rally, republican leader Alexander Fernandez stated that the Aglrinia has continued to violate the national sovereignty of nations and can no longer stand by while they continue to do so while at the same time stating that while not current Rosaria may eventually come under threat and that they must prepare themselves for it.
Military: The Rosarian Military is continuing its improvements to its equipment throughout all branches to defend against current and potential threats. (Secret) SRPA begins testing in anti satellite capabilities with missile and software tools. Increases in security throughout all its research centers and bases in Rosaria has been activated at this current phase in development.

Top News: The Rosarian Senate approved a new 3 billion dollar manufacturing contract, to build additional arms and vehicles for the military and to fulfill existing arms deals. While Priority has been set to completing the arms deal before March its been confirmed that production lines for the new Merkava V have reopened.
National News: Today marks the 5th day that a large rainstorm has continued to affect The southern islands, Camares, Avala and Avalon. Flood and mudslides warnings have been in effect with some already occurring, 10 people have been confirmed dead and 45 with minor injuries. It is expected the storm will continue until the end of the week reducing in severeness.
Political: Senate midterms continue as candidates continue to hold rallies and attempt to pull supporters to their sides. The Democrats continue to maintain and slight lead in battleground states and counties while each party holds their respective strongstates, only five months remain until the elections and so far the largest issue in the midterms remains the Aglrinia issue with republicans having publicly denounced Aglrinia while Democrats have yet to do so.

Top News: The Democrats today announced their stance on Aglrinia expansions throughout the year. According to a democratic spokesperson the democratic party has stated they are against such aggressive expansions and the current Na Lahaari situation. With that came a congressional meeting to debate on what to do next.
National News: The Rosarian Forces today has been placed on high readiness to to prepare for any retaliation for the stance against Aglrinia. Military security has been set in place on all international entry points as well as National Ferry ports which connect both land masses via sea.
Political: The Rosarian Democratic party today announced that they stand against Aglrinia in their latest attempts to conquer more territories. This is seen as more of the population begin to disprove of Algrinia military actions. Political experts state that the announcement came to remove the advantage the republican party had announcing that they disprove of Aglrinia expansions and polls showing favor to the Republicans.
Military: The Rosarian Military has been placed in high readiness with naval and air patrols increasing and the army being deployed as security in international points of entry and the National Ferry. The Rosarian Air Force has officially retired the U/AV-17 Hawk VTOL aircraft making the P-1117 the only VTOL aircraft in the air force, The government has allowed Weyland Industries, the developer and manufacturer to sell the aircraft to international markets and private owners. Additional P-117's have been ordered to increase the fleet size and a contract has been offered to Weyland to work with SRPA to develop a successor to the P-117.
Science: Seras Corporation today unveiled early prototypes of holographic imagery to the public in their latest tech expo. The Seras Technology Exposition is held once a year in San Sebastian to showcase yearly progressions in technology and what is planned in the years to come, it also allowed smaller tech companies to showcase their products and ideas . Top News: The Rosarian Senate today voted 32-12 to place economic sanctions on Aglrinia cutting off trade and financial access to and from. In addition the Rosarain Senate has also agreed to the invitation from Maittar and is prepared to meet with their leaders.
National News: The Rosarian Armed forces today has called on their military reserves and have begun a campaign to enlist more throughout all states. News of more benefits for those who enlist and those who already are have been confirmed and will be reformed later this week.
Political: Democratic and Republican senator have formed a temporary alliance and have agreed to support any military contracts and any increase to the military budget within reason. While the midterms campaigns are still in full swing some political experts have given early theories that nothing will change while others say that the democrats will win some seats.
Military: Rosarian Armed Forces have requested additional infantry kits and equipment to prepare for the influx of people entering the army. Additional recruit training facilities have been quickly established although lacking some certain aspects, the main goal is to train, however will continue construction throughout the training. Top News: Today the Rosarian Senate approved another round of military contracts, a total $245.000.000 worth of contracts have been approved to well know defense contractors with Yutani Tech receiving a large portion. More contracts are expected in the upcoming week as the Rosarian Military curently undergoes reorganization and procurement.
National News: The Rosarian President prepares to head to Maittar to meet with the head of government and discuss the future of Auratus. it is expected the meeting will take place this week although nothing has been officially stated. Heightened security continues throughout all ports of entry and shows no signs of ending.

Military: The Rosarian Army prepares for new waves of enlisted men as recruitment campaigns continue throughout all of Rosaria. According to their website a little over 10,000 civilians have enlisted since the announcement came out. The Rosarian High Command has expressed that they intend to reactivate the 47th and 115th Airborne divisions and plan to increase the size of its special operations branch. The most surprising move came when high ranking officials stated that they plan to reintroduce the Sombra Negra task force, a elite special missions unit that was engulfed in controversy and accusations that they were being used as death sqauds during the 1973-1974 civil war. Although never proven they have become infamous but respected for their apparent brutality and frightening efficiency in conducting their missions.

Top Story: Today President Isidra has issued a declaration of war against the Aglrinian government stating the recent attacks on the Savjata Isles are unacceptable and that Rosaria will no longer stand idly by as Aglrinia continues to violate the sovereignty of other nations. All military assets have been placed on high alert and the country has increased its defense reediness condition to Level III.
National News: The Rosarian government has issued various bills that would grant manufacturing contracts to private companies to produce military equipment, the bills will only be granted to companies that produce non essential civilian goods and has placed a cap of 40% of a private company's manufacturing base in order to prevent full conversion from civilian goods to military.
